Choose the style and correct size evaporator plate (based on the internal volume in cubic feet) for either a freezer or refrigerator box.

For a spillover system, double the freezer space cubic feet, add the refrigerator space cubic feet and treat the whole box like a refrigerator when selecting the correct size evaporator.

The cubic feet of the box need not be an exact number (L" x W" x D" ÷ 1728 = cu. ft.). Keep in mind the quality of the insulation. If you are unsure, favor a larger plate.
